About Us
The Russian-Speaking Student Association (RSSA) was founded to create a welcoming, inclusive space for Russian-speaking students and those interested in Russian language and culture at USI. We aim to foster connection, mutual support, and cultural exchange within the university community.
In today’s international climate, we believe it is more important than ever to emphasize that language and culture are not threats, but bridges. Russian is spoken across many countries and cultures, and we seek to highlight its role as a tool for communication, understanding, and shared human experience.
Through social, cultural, and educational events, RSSA supports the integration of Russian-speaking students, encourages cross-cultural dialogue, and promotes an environment where curiosity, respect, and openness come first. Our association is non-political, non-profit, and open to all members of the USI community, regardless of background or language level.
